A few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to experience the Lara Barut Collection as the first stop on a fam (educational) trip to Turkey. I had been to Turkey before, but it was my first time in Antalya, and from the moment I arrived, I knew this place was something special!

My Room -The Hammam Penthouse Suite
I spent two nights in the Hammam Penthouse Suite before moving on to our next hotel, and honestly, I didn’t want to leave. It was the kind of room that just makes you feel instantly relaxed - spacious, beautifully designed, and packed with thoughtful details. On of my favourite parts was the private hammam, which added a luxurious spa touch right in the room. Waking up in the morning, I opened the curtains to that crisp blue sky and stunning lagoon pool view — bliss.

First Impressions & Fine Dining
On the first evening, we dined at the Lara Barut Villas restaurant — which I later learned is likely called the Weik à la carte restaurant. It was superb. The setting was refined yet relaxed, the service was faultless, and the food… just wow! It set the tone for the entire stay, quality, care, and calm everywhere you looked.

Exploring the Resort & Space to Breathe

The next morning, I got up early for a walk along the beachfront — and I’m so glad I did. The sunrise was stunning, with lovely golden tones over the sand and sea. There’s a brilliant running track that wraps around the outer edge of the resort, so it’s perfect for morning jogs or just clearing your head. I followed it down past the gardens and beach bars, breathing in the lovely clean coastal air that awaits. The resort is spacious, with large green areas, palm-lined paths, and thoughtfully placed seating spots. It didn’t feel busy, even though it’s a big property and there were a few guests already checked in. I noticed how well the different sections are laid out — adults-only quiet zones, family-friendly areas, and swim-up rooms with access to shared pools tucked into peaceful corners.

Beach Vibes & Pool Perfection

There are several pools throughout the resort, each designed for a different experience — family splash zones, serene adult areas, and showstopper lagoon-style pools. There’s also direct beach access, and I really enjoyed the laid-back beach bars for a mid-morning iced coffee or afternoon cocktail. The whole place is built to help you unwind without even thinking about it. Great for Families (and Couples Too!) Even though I visited as part of a work trip, I could absolutely see myself coming back with family or friends. The kids’ club looked fun and colourful (without being too noisy!), and there are plenty of family-sized suites as well as more romantic, secluded options for couples. It’s versatile and inclusive — and there’s a subtle sense of Turkish hospitality running through everything.
