Hotel Review: Anda Barut Collection – Where Luxury Meets Laid-Back Fun in Turkey

If you’re after a luxury Turkish escape, then the 5-star Anda Barut Collection All Inclusive Resort might just be your new favourite place!

I recently had the pleasure of staying here for 4 nights in October— I flew into Bodrum Airport, a mere 3.30 minutes flight from the UK and was greeted by sunshine and friendly locals. The hotel is located 10 drive to the seaside town of Didim, the transfer was approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes through pretty countryside.

First Impressions

On arrival, I was ushered by the concierge, who took my bags, to the stunning Lobby Bar, where the receptionist checked me in, sitting in comfort with a drink of my own choice.

The resort itself is beautifully laid out — low-rise buildings, gorgeous gardens, and a sleek, modern feel throughout. A five-star property without any of the pretension. The hotel is laid out in three distinctive Zones: Adult Only, Community and Family. It is therefore a great choice for everyone and especially multi generational families: for adults who want to relax without the Kids there is a fabulous chilled out pool and adult only bar and restaurant, for a lively scene there is the community pool with activities and music and for families they are in for a treat with 3 waterparks, a mini fairground, kids club and so much to keep the little ones occupied.

Rooms Worth Raving About

There’s a great choice of room types, from Deluxe and Swim-Up Rooms to the stunning Bayou Villas, which are on another level entirely. I did room tours of all the room categories, and the quality really stood out — think modern, airy spaces with calm, neutral tones and stylish touches.

The Bayou Villas are particularly special — each one has its own pool, spacious living area, and that sense of privacy you only get in the most exclusive spots. They’re perfect if you fancy a bit of extra indulgence or you’re travelling with family or friends.

Family Fun

As I mentioned, one of the things I really liked is that even though the resort caters beautifully for families, it still manages to feel calm and sophisticated.

There’s a kids’ club for ages 0–18 (yes, even teens get their own space!), plus a mini funfair with a rollercoaster and bumper cars. Add in three waterparks — one for adults and two for younger kids — and you can see why families absolutely love it here.

Down on one of the two blue flag beaches, there’s even a toy box filled with buckets and spades — such a sweet touch. The beach itself isn’t the most stunning stretch of sand I’ve ever seen, but it’s peaceful and well-kept, perfect for a morning stroll or lazy afternoon.

Food & Drink

As with all Barut hotels, the food here is absolutely spot on. There are plenty of à la carte options and a huge main buffet that’s genuinely impressive — loads of variety, beautifully presented, and excellent quality. A bonus is that you are not only allowed to eat a la carte a certain number of times, you can book a different one every day for breakfast, Lunch or dinner, with everything from a fish speciality restaurant to an Asian cuisine, and there is even a kids‘ own special buffet restaurant for the little ones

The cocktails are fantastic too — none of those watered-down, mystery-spirit concoctions you sometimes get on all-inclusive holidays. Everything tastes premium, and the service is warm and attentive without being over the top.

Final Thoughts

The Anda Barut Collection has a lovely balance —with easy access to the town of Didim with its shops, bustling market and and the Temple of Apollo for a bit of culture. It makes for the perfect holiday destination, it’s elegant and high,-end but still has that holiday buzz. Whether you’re a couple looking for a chic break, a family needing space and entertainment, or a group of friends who love a bit of luxury with laughter, this one ticks all the boxes. I myself am going back with my family next year. You won‘t be disappointed!
