The Sarojin Khao Lak
The Sarojin Khao Lak
I have been lucky enough to have just returned home from an amazing Thailand trip, part of which included a 2 Night stay at the Sarojin and I can honestly say this it is amazing, I would even go as far as to stay it has to be up there with one of my favourite hotels I have ever stayed in! From the moment you step foot in this resort you instantly relax, the smell, the peacefulness, and the incredible view over the grounds from reception it’s just stunning!
This hotel is set within lush tropical gardens, with everything you could need for a relaxing stay and plenty locally if you want to explore. The hotel was brand new and just about ready to open when the devastating Tsunami wiped everything out and they had to start again. Their story is incredibly moving, because of the dedication and hard work of the staff during which tragic times they named the rooms after the original staff that worked so tirelessly to open this beautiful property. They reward all of their staff after a year’s service with a 2-night stay so they can really get a feel for the resort from a customer perspective and ensure everyone feels like they are at home, so much so they don’t have any signs here… because you don’t have signs at home. This is such a lovely idea and it works, the service is phenomenal.
The hotel is run predominantly by a local team, supported and rewarded by the hotel there is a strong sustainability message throughout. Another unique and amazing concept is the all day breakfast, you can have breakfast any time from 6.30 am - 6.30 pm with an amazing selection, all a la carte style, including ‘Holiday Juice’ ( Alcohol )
Whether celebrating a special occasion or simply wanting to enhance your stay, this hotel provides private dining at various locations, including on-site, on the beach, on an island, or by a waterfall. The waterfall dining experience is unique and unlike anything I've seen.
The Sarojin Waterfall Private dining is a unique and intimate experience at The Sarojin. Whether it’s a romantic candlelit dinner next to a jungle waterfall or on a private sand isle, a gourmet picnic breakfast on a secluded white sand beach, or a private dinner in a pool island pavilion or your sala, they will make it happen for you. Outside or inside, on the beach, in the jungle, in the gardens – you choose the place, the time, the menu – they will do the rest and set your table! We headed up to the waterfall and even during the daytime when it‘s not set up for the dining experience it's still amazing so when it’s all set up at nighttime it would be a phenomenal experience. It really would be so special!!
You can see why this hotel is popular with repeat guests, it’s 100% on my list to return to!
