Ski the Dolomites - Sella Ronda

The Sella Ronda of the Italian Dolomites is an amazing circular network of lifts and pistes taking you around the Gruppo del Sella - a mighty limestone massif with villages scattered around it. The spectacular Dolomite scenery is like something Disney might have conjured up for a movie or a theme park. Comparing the scale of the skiing network, it exceeds even the famed Three Valleys in France and in addition to the Sella Ronda circuit, major lift systems lead off it at the three main resorts along the way - Selva, Corvara and Arabba making it very easy to access. This area is fantastic for beginners and intermediates as there are not as many challenging runs for the experts. Selva is a key resort around the Sella Ronda and one of my favourites, the scenery again is spectacular and has a variety of hotels, great nursery slopes and a good selection of shops, restaurants and activities The Hotel Oswald is a firm favourite with repeat clients and is a modern alpine hotel which has a welcoming mountain atmosphere along with great attention to detail and efficient service.
