Corsica is the closest Mediterranean island to the UK and offers a wonderfully exclusive destination, which is simply perfect for a luxury honeymoon. If you are looking for something really special but don't want a long flight to the Indian Ocean or the Far East, then maybe Corsica is the answer. It is by no means a budget option, meaning that it attracts the more discerning traveller who is looking for something with an element of class. As well as some stunning hotels, there are some wonderful villa options which can be more cost effective. They will still however give you an extremely romantic retreat on a self catering basis. There are also some wonderful train rides which take you through the Island allowing you to enjoy the stunning scenery if you don't want to explore by car. Whilst there are only a few flight options, there is a charter flight through one of our main Corsican Suppliers, which departs on a Sunday, making it very convenient for your post wedding departure. Also due to the lower number of flight options and the cost of accommodation, it means Corsica is generally less popular with the mass market, which for a honeymoon is probably a bonus!
