Are you looking for a short flight?   If you have answered YES to any of the above then l have a hotel that ticks all the boxes - Barcelo Pueblo Menorca in the resort of Punta Prima, only 20 minutes transfer from Mahon Airport. I don`t want this to sound like a cliche but it really does suit all of the above, and more....... The hotel offers fantastic leisure facilities including mini golf, 3 swimming pools + 2 children`s pools (inc a wonderful waterpark for the little ones). It has a wonderful restaurant with show cooking nightly and a good variety of both local and international cuisine. 3 bars will keep you well hydrated and at busy times and staff permitting they serve you at your tables or sun loungers! The hotel itself is situated over 6 small blocks, all having 3 floors, with a lift to all floors and offering easy access for disabled guests. For families the hotel offers a number of family rooms (sleeping upto five people 2ad + 3ch) where the little ones can have the independance of sleeping in their own room whilst been connected to yours! Depending which tour operator you travel with you have the option of either bed & breakfast, half board or all inclusive (its quite often not much more to go HB rather than BB) The resort centre is 300 yards away down a gentle slope with a variety of gift shops, bars & restaurants. Punta Prima`s focal point is almost certainly its beachfront which gently shelves into the mediterranean sea and is again particularly recommended for families with young children. Mahon the islands capital is only 20 mins away by a cheap regular bus service and a land train runs regularly throughout the day to the neighbouring resort of Binibeca so you can get out and about even without a car!
