Andalucia

I have recently visited Andalucia, Spain with TUI.

We flew in to Faro and took a private transfer from the airport to the resort of Instilla, in the provence of Huelva. We stayed at the Estival Islantilla hotel. The front of hotel was set in a residential area with friendly staff, clean common areas throughout and lots to do, perfect for couples and families. The restaurant staff were outstanding, they catered for everyone.

The rear of the hotel grounds lead you to a beautiful sandy beach, with a huge promenade leading to bars, shops, restaurants and an inflatable water park. There are also a couple of golf courses in the vicinity.

We took a small group tour to Niebla, a town over a thousand years old, where we visited churches and a castle that borders the town, this was followed by a factory tour and wine tasting at Bodegas Jose Molina. The village El Rocio was our next stop, home to one of the famous and crowded pilgrimage in Spain. Our final stop was The Wharf of the Caravels to see replicas of Columbus‘s boats The Santa Maria, The Nina and The Pinta.
