Marella Cruises
We're always assessing how we can make our cruise fleet more sustainable, and we're finding new ways all the time. For example, on Marella Discovery, we refurbished the main dining room to remove all neon and halogen lights and replaced them with a more effcient system. This helped cut the ship's yearly carbon emissions, as well as reduce Marella Discovery's overall fuel consumption. And, since 2019 we've swapped over five million pieces of single-use plastic with paper or wood alternatives.
