This five-star property lies on the north west coast by Zanzibar’s only non tidal beach, making it an ideal location for enjoying the clear waters of the Indian Ocean. There’s 300m of sand where guests can relax in privacy, a towel service is available and villas and suites have the benefit of their own private area and bar.

If you’re feeling a little more active, head to the Water Sports Centre where you can hire out equipment for snorkelling and non-motorised watersports. Diving lessons can also be arranged plus sunset cruises, boat excursions and fishing trips.

Zuri Zanzibar has a 32m infinity pool, a book and DVD library and the wonderful Spice Garden which is a perfect place for a quiet, meditative stroll.

MAUA Wellness has three massage rooms and a salon offering a range of pampering and relaxing treatments, manicures, pedicures and facials. After your treatment, chill out on the Jacuzzi deck or perhaps take a private yoga lesson.
