In generous grounds, on the outskirts of Trecastagni village, this is an airy and welcoming house, designed to embrace the indoor/outdoor lifestyle of the Med. A broad covered terrace runs the length of villa, shading an al fresco dining area and overlooking the twelve metre swimming pool in its sunny paved surroundings. Extensive lawns are sprinkled with young olive trees and furnished with rattan loungers, a barbecue and poolside picnic table, while, within the house, the style is smart and contemporary. With floors in polished pine and cool tiles, the villa has accommodation on two levels, a sitting room and kitchen diner occupying the upper ground, with three en suite bedrooms below.A sweeping open staircase links the two floors, descending from the dining room to a second comfortable sitting room. Well positioned for the coast, countryside and local culture, the villa is an easy drive from Catania, Taormina, golf at Castiglione and the shingle beach of Riposto, and the shops and restaurants of both Trescastagni and Viagrande are within 2km.
