Looking out to a fantastic panorama of forested hills, with barely another house in sight, this luxury villa exudes an air of tranquil seclusion. Expansive lawns surround the house, structured with sentinel cypress trees and shrubbery banks, sloping down to an inviting swimming pool and paved sun terrace, and leading to a timber decked sundowner /sitting area. Within the house a charming breakfast kitchen opens on to an al fresco dining terrace, bright plaid fabrics add a welcoming touch to a very pretty living/dining room, and a former chapel has been converted to form a second sitting room. Villa Muraglia has one twin and three double bedrooms, each with en suite bath or shower room and each individually furnished and stylishly understated, with white walls and warm toned wood or ornate wrought iron furniture. Cook service can be pre-booked here for a truly leisurely stay, and guests receive preferential rates for green fees and in the clubhouse restaurant of Antognolla Golf, 2km away. Shops in Pierantonio are 9km from the villa, with livelier Umbertide a little further.
