Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur

Umaid Bhawan Palace is the last of the great palaces of India and remains the residence of the Jodhpur royal family. Built between 1928 and 1943, the palace is perched on Chittar Hill within 26 acres of lush gardens and has breathtaking views of the sand dunes, the Blue City and Mehrangarh Fort.
