This magnificent modern villa is set amongst olive trees, plumbago and other shrubs close to the coast, mid-way between Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca, just 2.4km from excellent restaurants, amenities and shops in the picturesque village of Spongano. Beautifully furnished in contemporary elegant Italian style, its white walls form a blank backdrop for interesting works of art and smart soft furnishings.

The layout is very straightforward. From the front furnished terrace, the entrance is into a central open plan reception room with modern, well equipped kitchen with island, stylish dining and sitting area opening to the dining terraces at the rear. To the left and right, a hallway on each side leads to three bedrooms and two shower rooms in each part. On one side, a double bedroom with en suite and a further double bedroom and study with single bed sharing a further shower room. The bedrooms are all of a good size with top quality beds and well-appointed shower rooms. Affording equal emphasis to al fresco living, the villa boasts a large shaded terrace for dining outside, with stylish soft seating . There is also a soft seating area at the front of the villa. Adjacent to the dining area and outside seating there is an outside shower and kitchen area with plancha grill, small fridge and table tennis is also available in the gardens.

The villa is set amongst olive trees and is in a very private setting. Steps lead up from here to the roof terrace, furnished with sofa and armchairs for a different perspective over the gardens and sundowners. The charming village of Spongano, with an excellent restaurant, Trattoria Picalo, is within a very quick drive and there are further restaurants (also offering takeaway options) in the village. This is a very central location for those who would like to enjoy wonderful authentic restaurants, stunning coastline, beaches, beach clubs and picturesque historic towns of Castro, Otranto, Gallipoli in this very quiet and unspoilt corner of southern Italy.

This super villa is particularly appreciated by CV guests for the very high standard of accommodation, and very private setting. With two bedroom 'areas' and two master bedrooms with en suite facilities it is particularly suited to two families travelling together.
