The Sandpiper is one of the most exclusive small hotels in the West Indies. This member of the "Small Luxury Hotels Of The World" is set on a beach-front and framed by palm shaded gardens where hibiscus and frangipani bloom.

You can relax and unwind around the beautiful mosaic tiled swimming pool before taking a leisurely swim to cool off then return to your lounger to soak up the rest of the days rays.

At the beach you’ll find complimentary non-motorised watersports including Laser and Sunfish sailing, kayaking, paddle boarding, snorkelling and Hobie-Cat sailing. There’s a scuba diving school at the Sandpipers sister hotel, Coral Reef Club, plus deep sea fishing charters can be arranged if desired.

There is a tennis court which is lit for night play and complimentary tennis coaching is available from the resident tennis pro. You could also keep yourself fit by heading down to the well-equipped gym.

If you want to indulge yourself, visit The Spa which is located at the Sandpipers sister hotel, Coral Reef Club. Guests are provided with complimentary luxury transfers for the two minute ride to the spa which is set within a lovely colonial inspired building with clean modern lines. The Spa has four treatment rooms, each with its own private foot ritual patio and garden, plus there’s an outdoor pavilion for couples.

Other facilities include and ‘open sided’ relaxation room, outdoor hydro-pool with shaded cabanas, Thermal Suite with a peaceful Crystal Steam Room and Experience Shower and a Spa Lounge where you can enjoy secluded relaxation. Don’t miss the Pedicure Room which has striking views over the treetops surrounding the property.

The Spa is a perfect place to enjoy a massage, treatment, facial, wrap or scrub to leave you feeling utterly relaxed and revitalised.

Sandpiper has 48 beautiful air-conditioned rooms and suites, with all suites have their own kitchenette making them well suited to families. Treetop suites are larger, have beautiful bathrooms and a wraparound terrace with a private plunge pool.

Comfortable accommodation with king or twin beds, private bathroom and patio or balcony with delightful garden views.

One Bedroom Suite

Spacious suites with a king or twin bedded room, en-suite bathroom, separate living room with sofa bed, kitchen, patio or balcony.

Tree Top Suite

The Sandpiper's two Tree Top Suites offer the most luxurious accommodation consisting of a bedroom, spacious living room with TV, DVD, CD/iPod player, dressing area, beautiful bathroom with large walk-in shower and separate tub.

The large covered terrace has a wet bar and the open sundeck has a plunge pool. Both suites have views of the sea.

Restaurants


Open on three sides to torch lit tropical gardens and surrounded by tranquil koi ponds, the restaurant at Sandpiper is regarded by discerning diners as one of the very best in Barbados with low key live entertainment offered most nights such as reggae, jazz, piano, etc.

On Sunday nights there is a barbecue dinner with a wide selection of meats, fish and seafood available from the grill accompanied by live steel pan music.

For alfresco lunches and sundown cocktails, Harold’s Beach Bar is the perfect spot, renowned for its location right on the beach.
