Governors' Camp

Here at the Governor‘s Camp, you will find some of the best rangers around which guarantees you will have a safari heaven. Located in the heart of Kenya's Masai Mara National Reserve and along the banks of the winding Mara River, it is one of the best places to spot wildlife. This traditional camp is unfenced so you will often find grazing animals just passing through.

Some of the luxury tents have views across the Masai Mara plains, whilst others line the riverbank where a wealth of wildlife and birds can be seen. All tents have en-suite bathrooms with flushing toilets and hot and cold running water.

The Camp has been awarded a Silver Eco Rating from Eco-Tourism Kenya due to the sustainable tourism practices it has in place.

The most famous game reserve in the world, the Maasai Mara is what safari heaven would look like – rolling grasslands, wide open savannah and rich in wonderful African wildlife.

Game viewing is included twice daily by experienced and highly trained guides. The custom built 4 wheel drive landrovers will take you to the best areas to view this wildlife rich area and take photographs.

Optional Masai village visits, hot air balloon flights, and light aircraft trips to Lake Victoria can be arranged.
