Glistening Waters is a striking villa quietly positioned on the banks of the Douro, with sweeping river views and terraced vineyards on the opposite shore. Perfect for families or small groups, it combines privacy with effortless access to the Douro Valley’s renowned scenery and attractions.

The villa’s interiors are light-filled and open, with elegant living rooms and dining areas flowing onto broad terraces. Rolling lawns lead down to the river and a private boat dock, while the infinity pool provides a dramatic vantage point over the water. Large, fully equipped kitchens and generous dining areas make both casual and formal entertaining simple and comfortable.

Accommodation is arranged over two levels. The upper level includes a double bedroom with king-size bed and en suite shower, two twin bedrooms with en suite showers, and an additional double bedroom with en-suite shower. The lower level, accessed externally, offers a double bedroom with en suite shower and a bedroom with two twin bunk beds and en suite shower. All rooms are designed to maximise the river views and offer modern comforts.

The villa is ideally placed to explore the Douro Valley, with vineyards, wine and Port tasting experiences, river cruises, and scenic walks nearby. Local amenities are within easy reach: Alijó offers supermarkets and restaurants, Favaios has a bakery, pharmacy and dining options, and the renowned Quinta do Bomfim vineyard is 18km away.
