Gertrudis

Villa Gertrudis  is ideally located very close to Santa Gertrudis, a charming little village with lovely restaurants, shops and bars. The villa’s central location makes it a perfect spot from where one can explore the island in all four directions. The house is a perfect combination of typical Ibizan architecture, combined with modern comfort and design. The focal point of the house for enjoying long summer days is the stunning pool area. The poolside pergola hosts a comfortable outdoor seating area, as well as an al-fresco dining table, seating up to 10 people; the outdoor kitchen with the BBQ, stove and fridge completes this space, making it the perfect place for all day lounging and dining. There is an Andalusian style backyard, with orange trees and a water fountain, ideal for an aperitif while listening to the birds. A stunning Balinese house on the other side of the property invites guests to have a “siesta” in the shade. There is also a beautiful orchard, with different kinds of fruit trees providing fresh fruit that guests are welcome to enjoy, when in season. 

Attention to detail makes this a very pleasant, fully refurbished, home away from home; the bedrooms and bathrooms are all new, and exceptionally large by Ibiza standards. The kitchen, which is also brand new, is equipped with everything to enjoy every day cooking for small and large groups. There are in total 3 living room areas in the house, making it very easy for even large groups to find privacy or spend time together. The main house has two floors. On the very bright ground floor there is the kitchen with a connected large dining area, 2 living rooms with sofas offering sitting space for 10 people at a time. One of them is also equipped with a smart TV. On the other side of the living room there is one large bedroom with its separate bathroom, that offers a bathtub and a walk-in shower.On the first floor you will find another living room – with a wonderful view of the property and Ibiza town with the Ibiza Castle in the background. On a clear day you can even see Formentera. To the left, you will enter into a large bedroom with its own bathroom, with a bathtub and separate shower and a walk-in wardrobe. To the right, there are two additional ensuite bedrooms, each equipped with walk-in showers. Both of these bedrooms share a large terrace that can be covered with a motorized sunroof. From there you can also see Ibiza town and get a glimpse of the sea. The guest house, internally connected via a separate entrance consists of a very large room that includes a double bed and a sitting area, a bathroom with shower, and has direct access to the garden.
