A little gem and a rare find indeed, this is a lovely villa in the heart of Corfu’s unspoilt north east coast, providing peace and privacy just for two, along with its private pool.

Villas for two are usually comfortable, mostly attractive, sometimes well placed for a beach and eateries, and occasionally complete with their own pool or garden. This delightful little cottage ticks all those boxes. Its compact but cheerful interior is perfectly proportioned, with a pleasant kitchen/diner and an air-conditioned twin bedroom, which opens on to a shaded veranda. Outside, the pretty colour-washed house nestles in its own walled garden, with pots and planters and flowering shrubs, plenty of space for lounging or dining, and a private eight metre swimming pool, set in a sunny stone terrace.

So that just leaves the location, and Eleni’s is an enviable position. Set at the edge of the village, it is just a couple of minutes away from the lively little harbour, and a five minute walk from St Stephano’s man-made beach, with easy access to several resorts along the scenic coast. The sister-villa, Margarita, is a near neighbour and can be booked with Eleni for families or friends.
