Newly renovated for 2023, this contemporary, comfortable and quietly positioned villa is close to the sea in Kefalonia making it perfect for families and couples alike. The great location is only a short drive from the airport for the perfect retreat. Villa Arethusa has clean lines and cool colours add to the feeling of spaciousness in this single-storey villa. Both the interior and exterior have been newly designed by its British owners and now boast beautiful white and grey marble bathrooms and stylish fushia pink sun loungers. Outside provides space for ultimate relaxtion with family swings and the garden and a tranquil cabana for the adults. The villa’s airy kitchen/living room opens on to a shaded veranda overlooking the private pool and garden with two al fresco dining areas with an external speaker system and BBQ. Each of the three stylish bedrooms have direct access to the terrace or garden. South-facing and sun-drenched, the grounds are softly laid to lawn, surrounding an inviting swimming pool, and gazing out over a green valley to the sea. Arethusa seems purpose built for calm serenity, yet it is also well positioned for easy access to the islands attractions. The lovely cove of Paliolinos is a short walk down the hillside from the villa. Spartia is a five minute drive from the villa, with its beach and charming maze of streets, housing a handful of shops and tavernas, and the nearest family-run taverna, just up the hill a steep walk or short drive from the property. Water sports at Lassi are fifteen minutes away and you can rent motorboats at nearby Lourdas beach, a 10 minute drive.
