Hello and welcome!

My name is Helen and it’s my absolute pleasure to be part of the award-winning Designer Travel team as a Travel Expert. I live in Standish, Wigan, with my Husband and two travel obsessed children. As a family we have been fortunate to visit some amazing destinations, many which have become home from home, and I can’t wait to share my experience and knowledge with you.

My love for all things travel goes back as far as I can remember! As a child I was fascinated with flying and all things holidays, packing my hand luggage weeks in advance! This is something I have clearly passed on to my own children. I turned my passion for travel into the everyday when I became Cabin Crew at the age of 19 and have since travelled to both Long and Short Haul destinations for the past 25 years. I have always loved researching and planning holidays, and needless to say I have always been the first point of call for my family and friends looking for inspiration.

I have so many personal recommendations that I can‘t wait to share with you, from excursions to must do sightseeing and restaurant recommendations. Our personal family favourites are Orlando and the wider Florida State, Barbados, Lapland, New York City, the stunning Greek Islands, the beautiful Balearic island of Majorca and the Amalfi Coast in Italy (which is a special place as we got married there).

Throughout my career, my customers have always been at the heart of everything I do, and I will provide you with a truly unique and personalised experience. So from our initial conversations, right through to me completing your online check in and pre departure information, I will be with you as your point of contact.
