Secrets Bahia Real Resort and Spa
Secrets Bahia Real Resort and Spa
For our annual conference this year, we stayed at the adults only @SecretsBahiaReal in Corralejo, Fuerteventura.
This is a large beachfront hotel with 242 junior suites, majority of which have pool or sea views with a small number having a garden view. You can upgrade to preferred club rooms which give you the added benefits of personalised check-in and check-out, dedicated concierge service, choice accommodations in premium locations, in-room minibar with soft drinks and beer, upgraded bath amenities and pillow menu.
There is 1 buffet and 7 à la carte restaurants showcasing a wide variety of food from around the world. You can opt for B&B, Half board of All inclusive which they call Unlimited Luxury® as pretty much everything is included. We had an opportunity to sample the evening buffet at the Market Café which was amazing and so much choice.
The other evening meals we had were set menus being that there were so many of us and they did pull out all the stops to impress us with a great variety of local and international dishes.
Breakfast was incredible with again so much choice and even prosecco and bloody Mary‘s on tap should you wish for a little tipple with your breakfast.
The 2 pools (1 heated) are in the middle of the hotel which works well being that they are more sheltered from the wind (Fuerteventura is know as the windy isle so do expect it to be windy) There are sunbeds on the beach for guest of the hotel and the Sugar Reef Chill Out with Bali Beds (payable locally) over water. We walked into Corralejo which is around 1.7km away and took about 40mins (we were not walking fast) and here you will find many bars, restaurants and shops to look around, it had a good vibe although still fairly quiet.
All in all, I enjoyed staying in this hotel and felt well looked after by all the staff and would happily stay there again
