Tropicana Hotel in Las Vegas

10 night holiday to the Tropicana in Las Vegas Hi Simon So sorry we’ve taken a long time to update you on our holiday. Virgin Atlantic were great. Service was good as were the meals. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel lived up to expectations. We were upgraded to city view - which we would recommend. The alternative rooms are in the rear building are smaller, are nearer to the airport and therefore noisier and quite some way from the main entrance. Lovely swimming pool but same loud music all the time. To avoid the music the alternative areas didn't always have the sun! So much to do - every hotel had entertainment or displays. Fantastic. We managed to go by coach to the Grand Canyon and Terry also took a helicopter trip there and back up the strip which he loved. The Fremont is a must especially early evening. It is quite some way from the strip, so a bus (day return ticket or 3 day ticket - cheaper - purchased at the bus stop) or taxi is required. It is so lively. It's also where the Golden Nugget hotel is housing THE NUGGET! Also Bellagio fountains at night, Caesars Palace with its animation moving statues, Mirage with the live Volcano! We have no hesitation in recommending you to our friends and relatives particularly as you worked so hard in trying to arrange everything we wanted out of the holiday.
