Hi Sam,
We had a lovely holiday thanks, Â the weather was a great...about 28/30 degrees! The room was perfect, we had one of the best rooms in the hotel (room no. 2563). It was definitely worth you requesting a double bed and saying we were your VIP guests, other rooms backed onto bars etc and a lot of people were complaining about noise (we heard nothing!). El Gouna is lovely, felt really safe all the time and the marina was really smart with lots of nice boats.
