Celebrity Cruises - Back to Back Itinerary

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday co-ordinated and personalised for us by Sheila at Designer Travel. We took two one-week Celebrity cruises “back-to back”. The first week was exploring the eastern Mediterranean Greek Islands, followed by a week combining Greek Isles with Croatian coastal ports. The suites in Aqua Class were very comfortable with a good size balcony and sitting area. The Blu restaurant, exclusive to Aqua class customers at breakfast and dinner was quiet and delightful. There was a wide-ranging menu and the service very efficient and friendly. The staff quickly remembered our preferences and made it feel very personal.

The ship felt very spacious and clean with many lounge areas and lots of seating scattered around the ship. Excursions were available at all ports to suit all interests and capabilities. Shuttle buses were provided into the main towns to allow easy access for those who wished to explore on their own. A few ports were Tender service which was organised very efficiently. There was a wide range of activities on board to suit all age groups and many different areas to sit and socialise. Entertainment was varied and in general quite good. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor Rooftop Terrace screenings of recently released films (though no popcorn served!) Sheila organised a pre-cruise stay in Athens and a post-cruise stay in Venice in delightful and well-situated hotels that really increased our enjoyment of this break. The transfers she organised went like clockwork. We shall not forget leaving Venice by water taxi – a new way to travel to an airport!
