We had a lovely time at the Baron Palace.  The hotel was really lovely.  They were even kind enough to move our family room to another part of the hotel (where it would get sun in the mornings – as I’m normally up earlier than everyone else and I could get some sunshine!!). Our original room was on the other part of the hotel which didn’t get sunshine at all.

The food was lovely and the swimming pool was lovely and heated (well, one of them was!).  The girls loved the kids club as well, but I must say, it might have been because the hotel was really quiet.  There was hardly any children there, so rather than break them up into groups by age, the girls were able to play together and stay together, which really helped.

The service was good as well, especially in the dinning restaurants, although the service round the pool was rather slow :(

As a hotel, we thought it was excellent and one of the best we’ve been to.  But I’m not sure what it would be like if it was peak season or really busy.  The evening entertainment was perfect for the girls, they only wanted to do the mini disco – we didn’t want to stay out longer, but if we did, I don’t think there was much entertainment.  There were also a couple of really annoying things – like there are no toilets near the swimming pools – so with little kids, it’s quite a trek and there were some close shaves!!  The kids pool is also not heated, so although it looked lovely with the slides and everything, the girls tried it once and couldn’t stand the cold.

Saying all that, we would certainly go back again, in the hope that they still wouldn’t be too busy :)
