St Lucia
St Lucia
This is the most magnificent beautiful island only 44km by 23km renowned for the famous Piton Mountains - twin volcanic peaks rearing more than 700 metres out of the sea . The flight time is approximately 9 hours and is 4 hours behind GMT. Â This stunning lush island is made up predominately of unspoilt rainforest which attracts the most wonderful bird-life . The rainbow coloured St Lucian Parrot and Hummingbirds are very common. There is so much to do here , hiking, whale- watching, rainforest zip-wiring and exploring the sulphur springs at Mount Soufriere.
The beaches in St Lucia are beautiful and fringe into the clear turquoise warm sea. Â It is great for all kinds of water sports including scuba diving, snorkelling , windsurfing and water-skiing . The Islands night-life is centred around Rodney Bay with its many bars and restaurants which serve various kinds of cuisine.
The standard of hotels here are mostly 4 and 5 star mainly in the North of the Island. I have been lucky enough to stay in St Lucia 3 times now and have visited many of the hotels. St Lucia is an ideal island to two centre, for example with Barbados or Antigua.
St Lucia has been awarded the title of  ' Worlds Leading Honeymoon Destination ' eights times by the World Travel Awards - This idyllic Caribbean Island is a sensory of delight and it makes you come alive !
