This typically Tuscan 18th Century villa is a luxurious addition to the rolling hills of Valdinevole. Located close to the historic old town of Monsummano Alto, this original farmhouse-complex is now an elegant period retreat. While modern comforts complement the old-age country style, it's charm mainly lies in its classic features. Exterior walls are made of local stone and throughout, original artefacts and antique furnishings decorate every wall, floor and room. The large open kitchen is a traditional Tuscan gem with a working fireplace, old-style oven and even a sink that's more than 250 years old. Head through beautiful antique doors to find the spacious lounge and dining room - a set of 10 17th-Century Florentine chairs provide the perfect dinner setting. Upstairs, each of the bedrooms blend gorgeous views with an old interior character. The master bedroom has its own en suite bathroom with a Turkish bath, while next door, there is a further spacious double and twin bedroom. These share a bathroom that comes with its own Jacuzzi bathtub. Outside, a large open-plan terrace makes lazy sunbathing days easy - there's a barbecue that's great for al fresco dining, and an extremely large swimming pool and deck that adds a contemporary touch with its pool house and outdoor showers.
