EXPLORA III
The New Luxury Hotel at Sea
A few weeks ago, the third member of the Explora Journeys family, EXPLORA III, was launched — and I was incredibly lucky to spend the day experiencing all that she has to offer. From the moment I stepped on board, one word came to mind: Serenity. Despite guests disembarking and new guests arriving for the next journey, there was an unmistakable sense of calm. The Explora Hosts moved effortlessly around the ship, making everything appear seamless. And perhaps that is the real art of exceptional hospitality: everything is done, and done exceptionally well, but you barely notice it happening. I was also struck by how genuinely happy the Hosts were — and how incredibly proud they were of their beautiful new workplace. That warmth and enthusiasm was infectious.
Following some fascinating and informative presentations from Anna Nash, Antonio Paradiso, Andrew Schweitzer and the wider Explora Journeys team, I was given the opportunity to explore the ship. From the breathtaking Residences and Suites, to the beautifully considered lounges and restaurants, spa and impressive sports facilities including pickleball, padel and basketball, every detail felt thoughtfully designed around the guest experience.
Explora III feels less like a traditional cruise ship and more like an elegant, contemporary ocean resort — a place where space, privacy, exceptional service and discovery come together effortlessly. It was easy to see how a journey on Explora Journeys could transport you into that coveted ‘Ocean State of Mind’.
I left genuinely impressed — and even more excited to introduce my clients to the world of Explora Journeys. 🌊✨
