BARBADOS - SANDPIPER

The Sandpiper is one of the exclusive  small hotels in Barbados. It is tucked away on the west cast of the Island on St James Beach. Set amongst glorious backdrop of orchid trees, bougainvillea and swaying coconut trees. The hotel is situated on a beautiful sandy beach gently lapped by turquoise waters and bordered by a tree shaded wooden deck. During my stay at the Sandpiper I found  myself unwinding more and more as the days went by. The  restaurant run by  Executive Chef, Christophe Poupardin offered mouthwatering cuisine. Dining at the restaurant was a delightful relaxing part of my stay and a visit to Harold's Bar on the beach for one of his many cocktails became a frequent treat before dinner. The Calpaldi family have made this hotel and their sister one Coral Reef Club my favourite hotels on the  wonderful Island of Barbados.
