The Shandrani Resort and Spa - maybe the best all inclusive on the island....

Located on a protected and private peninsular in South East Mauritius, the wonderful 5* Shandrani Resort and Spa surrounded by the Blue Baie Marine Park, beautiful gardens and three beaches, is in my opinion, maybe the best all inclusive hotel on the island. Classic Rooms through to Senior Suites, all the 327 rooms are spacious, light and airy, spread out amongst the lovely grounds, with no room far from a beach. Depending on your chosen room category The Shandrani offers both Classic Serenity, and Serenity Plus all inclusive packages both of which start from the moment you arrive and continue on throughout your stay As well as the superb and varied cuisine in their five restaurants, premium brand drinks, fine wines and champagne, there are numerous free land and fantastic water sports on offer...so if you have wanted to learn to water ski?... There's also a great gym, with various classes to join in with, and if all of that has left you feeling exhausted there is the wonderful Spa and Wellness by Clarins. Serenity Plus Guests are invited to have a complimentary 45 minute massage...bliss! Couples and Honeymooners love the Shandrani...there are many secluded areas to enjoy....the 'wild beach' is particularly romantic! It is also a lovely place for a wedding. Beachcomber offer two wedding packages - the Classic and the Luxury...prices are very reasonable. Beachcomber recognise that this is your special day, and unlike many other resorts, only allow one wedding a day...yours!... The Shandrani also welcomes children aged 3-12 to their own Bob Marlin mini club where they are sure to be entertained with lots of games and activities. Under 3's and infants are welcome too, as long as they bring an adult with them. Babysitting services are offered for a small fee. I had the privilege of staying at the Shandrani some years ago, and loved it... it has a wonderful relaxed ambience, great food and a high standard of very warm and friendly service.
