Port de Pollensa, Majorca - Perfect for young families
Port de Pollensa, Majorca - Perfect for young families
Puerto Pollensa is a small resort all very accessible on foot. The famous Pine Walk runs the length of the bay, dotted with bars and restaurants, all family friendly and offering a mix of more relaxed places to fine dining. Ice cream parlours are plenty and shops range from the classic postcard bucket and spade store to bijoux boutiques.
Enjoy the centre of town in the old square where you'll find the locals gathering to chat, children playing and you can enjoy some Spanish Churros as you wander through.
There is lots to see close by too with Alcudia just around the bay, Cap de Formentor in the opposite direction and Palma is great for a day of city life, it's just under an hour's drive. Old Pollensa is a short drive away where you'll be enchanted by the beautiful old squares and cobbled narrow alleyways. The market in the main square is mouthwatering and there are some exceptional restaurants, all alfresco dining dotted around this square too.
It really is a lovely, relaxed and easy destination for families or couples looking for a relaxed break with a short flight.
If you'd like details on prices and hotels in this lovely resort, please give me a call and I'll be happy to help.
