The MOST stunning Greek Island you can ever wish to discover.......

About Paxos

Paxos is the smallest Greek island in the Ionian, a remarkable blend of natural wonders and historical treasures. Located south of Corfu, this island combines dramatic landscapes with centuries of cultural heritage.

This charming island is home to a collection of small villages blending traditional Greek island life with modern comfort. Each village tells it‘s own story, with winding pathways, vibrant local culture and unique communities that makes Paxos a distinctive destination.

More About Paxos

Gaios is the main town on this island, and serves as both the capital and main harbour for boats arriving from Corfu and the mainland.

This small town captures the hearts of visitors while remaining traditional in character with venetian architecture, crystal clear waters and local bars and tavernas. The pastel coloured buildings line narrow streets that open onto charming squares, while bouganvillea cascades from balconies.

Here you will find the 15th century Agios Nikolaos fortress standing guard over the harbour, accessible by a short boat ride to explore the fortress walls and panoramic views across the coastline.

The folklore museum is located on the harbour front, exhibiting loc al artifacts, ancient coins, costumes and tells the story of Paxos‘ olive oil heritage and maritime traditions.

Lakka is nestled in the northern tip and is the second largest harbour, with it's stunning horseshoe-shaped bay and crystal clear waters. This picturesque village offers traditional Greek charm and some of the most wonderful tavernas on the island.

Lakka's main beach, Harami is sandy, shallow waters and has a wonderful beach bar. There are many secluded beaches, only accessible by foot that can take you to quiet, white pebbled beaches with natural shade offered by the olive trees.

This harbour is often moored with sailing holiday vessels, luxury super yachts but also small boats for hire.

Nightlife here can be quiet and relaxed in a small family run taverna, a cocktail on one of the harbour front bars or live Greek music being played in the square by local musicians.

Loggos (also spelled Longos) is the most picturesque harbour, nestled on the east coast of Paxos capturing the essence of a traditional Greek village. This tiny harbour offers an authentic slice of Greek island life, combining picturesque beauty with a laid-back atmosphere, making it mpossible not to relax.

Walk up to the historic windmill on the hill offers panoramic views, past the old soap factory, currently being restored into the most wonderful unique hotel on the waterfront, giving you a feel of peace and tranquiliy.

Loggos offers some of the most wonderful dining options on this island, with quaint waterside bars at the end of the port.

Local beaches are within walking distance and are white pebbles with crystal clear waters. Levrecchio is the nearest with a local taverna situated there and Mamaris is a further walk from there.

Boat hire, boat trips, watersports and supermarkets can all be found here.
