Most people like to take holidays but I simple adore travel and have worked in this wonderful industry for over 4 decades. All I need as a starting point is a country or an area so I can match my customers to their ideal holiday destination, equipped with an itinerary I have prepared from personal experience. When you visit iconic cities for the first time it really helps to make the most of every minute if you go equipped with a plan. This might make me a successful travel agent but it also provides me with a feeling that goes way beyond simple job satisfaction.

If I had to choose a destination to share time with family and precious friends then it must be the Xanadu Resort in Belek, Turkey which ticks every box - food, entertainment and lovely grounds. I‘ve lost count of the times we have visited this idyllic all-inclusive resort, sometimes along with more than a dozen companions. Such happy memories around every corner!

Our industry has developed and expanded in ways I couldn't have imagined in the 1970s and likewise my holidays have evolved as my family has grown. When our children were young we frequently visited Florida and we've stayed in most Universal and Disney hotels with our favourites being the Polynesian and Portofino Bay. As my son developed facial hair and my daughter was suddenly taller than me, our choices morphed into the Hard Rock and Boardwalk vibe.
