This family-friendly resort lies close to one of Bali’s finest surfing beaches, Echo Beach making it a popular destination for surfing fans. Don’t worry if you have never surfed before as the hotel has partnered with Tropicsurf to offer a range of surfing lessons for guests of all abilities including a specialised learn-to-surf children’s programme for youngsters aged 8-14.

If you prefer dry land, there’s much to see and do in the local area – take a trip to the edge of the spectacular Mount Batur crater, visit the terraced rice fields, cycle to Tirta Empul or take a sightseeing tour in Tanah Lot on the west coast of Bali.

To unwind after your travels, head to the COMO Shambhala Retreat at COMO Uma Canggu where a fantastic range of healing and holistic treatments are on offer. There are also daily wellbeing classes including Pilates and yoga and a large outdoor lagoon pool where you can take a refreshing dip.

For dining, the hotel has the casual COMO Beach Club which offers a modern take on the traditional surf shack.
