Carlisle Bay is the perfect place to enjoy the blue Caribbean Sea. A wide range of watersports are available including sailing, kayaking, windsurfing, paddleboarding and snorkelling. To preserve the tranquility of Carlisle Bay, motorised watersports take place in a neighbouring cove where you can enjoy wakeboarding, tubing and waterskiing. You could also try your hand at deep sea fishing.
Scuba one-day courses and PADI Open Water four-day certification courses are also available, plus children over 8 years can take part in the PADI Bubblemaker programme. Snorkelling is a fantastic way to observe the fascinating sea life.
You could even learn how to sail or improve your existing skills on a three day course aboard a 40ft keelboat.
Back on dry land, the Screening Room at Carlisle Bay is the place where movies are hosted so you can relax on Italian made seats and enjoy the film with 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround sound.
Carlisle Bay is also great for tennis lovers, with no less than nine tennis courts – four of which are floodlit. Rackets and balls can be provided as well as professional instruction and complimentary tennis clinics.
A peaceful yoga pavilion is available and used for regular group and private classes, plus Pilates and dance classes. There is also an air conditioned Fitness Centre adjacent to the spa.
The resort’s Blue Spa offers a range of luxurious treatments all designed to ensure guests return to the ‘real world’ feeling relaxed and refreshed. The meditative atmosphere offers a great sanctuary offering treatments for both men and women.
There are six air conditioned treatment room, including one for couples, a sauna and wet room. Mail and female therapists are available and the spa menu includes a variety of scrubs, massages and facials.
Make your pampering session go further by taking a trip to the Beauty salon, which offers a manicure, pedicure, waxing and hairstyling as well as many other beauty treatments.
Children at Carlisle Bay
This is a resort that recognises that a holiday is designed to ensure that all party members have a marvellous time. With this in mind the resorts offers a range of child care options designed to help everyone make the most of their time on this beautiful island.
The Cool Kids Club is suitable for children from the age of six months up to the age of six years and is supervised by qualified professionals. There are a range of activities on offer and adventures might include exciting options like lizard spotting, art and crafts and treasure hunts – perfect to keep the little ones entertained.
The kids club has it’s own paddling pool, jungle gym and sand pit. There is a charge for those children under the age of two but it is a free option for those children over the age of two.
If you require the services of a nanny during your stay please talk to us in advance (preferably at the time of booking) and we will work with the resort to try and accommodate your request.
Older children can enjoy their own adventures at Crew Blue which offers complimentary guided nature walks along with a programme of other activities designed for children in the age range 7 – 12. Example activities include raft building, five a side football and an adventure to make the most of the local surroundings might include zip-wiring!
Crushis the teenagers club and is aimed at guests from 13 – 17. Teenagers will enjoy their own chill out room equipped with a Wii, table tennis and table football. There are also lots of outdoor activities which members can chose to get involved with.
