The Hawaiian Islands are stunningly beautiful with towering mountains and cascading waterfalls

More About Hawaii

Hawaii is the only American state which consists of a group of islands - there are over 132 islands in the archipelago but just 6 of them allow tourism; Oahu, Kauai, Molokai, Lanai, Hawaii and Maui. They are situated in the Pacific Ocean and the easiest way to reach them is by air from Los Angeles. Maui has lush rainforests and valleys, sparkling springs, impressive waterfalls, exotic plants and some of the most unspoiled beaches in the world. Visit the seaside town of Old Lahaina where you will find art galleries, charming inns and lovely restaurants lining the beautiful long sandy beaches of Kaanapali. Kapalua has two large crescent-shaped beaches and is popular with snorkellers and body surfers. Hire a car and get out to Hana on the east coast and you‘ll be treated to a stunning landscape of deep valleys and gorgeous waterfalls. Kauai is the fourth largest island and is a feast of verdant forests, cascading waterfalls and sandy beaches. When you visit Kauai, you'll be treated to the breathtaking coastal wilderness of Na Pali Cliffs and Waimea Canyon which is also known as the ‘Grand Canyon of the Pacific’.Hawaii is also known as the Big Island as it's the USA’s largest island and it is home to one of the world’s most active volcanoes. The island was formed by five connected volcanoes and is divided into 6 districts with most of the island’s tourist resorts lying on Kona's side in the west. You can enjoy a bird’s eye view of the volcano eruption areas on an air tour - absolutely amazing! The famous Waikiki Beach is located on the island of Oahu and we would say this island more or less sums up the common vision people have of a perfect tropical island holiday paradise. It has a wealth of land, sea and sporting activities available plus luxury resort hotels where holidaymakers can enjoy rest and relaxation in this idyllic environment. Climate

With a mild climate throughout the year, Hawaii is an ideal year-round destination. Average annual temperatures range from 73 to 82°C. There is a reason that the islands are one of the greenest places on the planet - that’s due to its rainfall! It rains nearly every day somewhere on one of the islands.

Leisure Activities

Kauai

The island of Kauai is simply stunningly beautiful. Many of the scenes for the film “Jurassic Park” were shot there as well as scenes from other big blockbuster movies. The best way to appreciate the scenery is from the air and there are many opportunities to take a helicopter tour. Other activities include snorkelling, diving and catamaran trips, or simply relax on one of the beaches.

Oahu

Oahu is the largest and one of the best known and frequently visited islands. It’s home to some of the more famous Hawaiian landmarks including Waikiki Beach and Pearl Harbour. There’s also an abundance of Hawaiian culture, fantastic waterfalls and no less than three active volcanoes!

Whale Watching

A visit to Hawaii gives you a fantastic opportunity to experience the majesty of humpback whales in their natural environment. The peak season for spotting these magnificent creatures is between the months of December and March.
