'Only in Dubai'! | Designer Travel

‘Only in Dubai’ is not an uncommon thing to hear people say. From Dune Bashing to Skiing, it is a destination which offers a host of new experiences, so if you’ve never been to Dubai, you’re missing out!

Whether you are planning a luxurious honeymoon, a trip away with friends for a long weekend or a luxury family holiday, Dubai has something for everyone. Luxury is something that does not go short in Dubai! With the majority of Beachfront hotels maintaining a standard that is really 6* across the board, you will go without nothing!

There are an array of different hotels, which surpass themselves with the facilies they have to offer as with the development of the hotels along Jumeirah Beach and each new property trying to out do the next the standards are impeccible. On my first visit in 1996, there were only a handful of hotels on offer, with the well know Jumeirah Beach Hotel having only just been built. This now is a different story. The Jumeirah Beach Hotel is still as poplular as ever, due to it’s fantastic Childrens facilities and it’s offer of complimentary entry into the Wild Wadi Water Park. But now all the beach front hotels are simply amazing, stretching for miles along the Jumeirah Strip and out onto The Palm. Most have a view of the iconic Burj Al Arab, where if you can’t afford the room rate, visit the Skyview Bar on the 27th floor for a cocktail with a view.

Atlantis, The Palm, is a family haven, with such a huge range of activites to choose from that you won’t know where to start. Home to The Aquaventure Water park, this is fast becoming one of the most popular attractions for water thrill seekers in the Middle East and Europe. If you stay at Atlantis, The Palm you will get unilimited access to Aquaventure And why not visit Dolphin Bay, where all the family can swim with and experience these Dolphins close up.

A holiday in Dubai wouldn’t be complete without a trip into the Desert. ‘Desert Safaris’ can be prebooked to avoid any disappointment at peak times of year. In the late afternoon you will be collected from your hotel and taken out into the desert for a 4X4 experience by a trained driver to go dune bashing which is great fun and truely exhilerating. Following this you will be taken to a traditional Bedouin Camp, where you will feast on Middle Eastern Cuisine and be entertained with belly dancing. During the evening you can also get yourself a henna tatoo or take a camel ride!

Our relationships with the suppliers who feature Duabi enable me to gain access to some great offers, so why not consider Dubai as your next destination or make a short stop over for 2/3 nights to create the perfect twin centre holiday with the Maldives or Mauritius.
