Lesley Anne Baker

Hello, I am Lesley Anne Baker and I am your personal travel expert working with the award-winning Designer Travel. I work from Hove on the South Coast of England however I have customers located across the UK, Europe, USA, Australia and the Caribbean.

I am passionate about all things travel related and after more than 35 years working in the travel industry, I still get excited when I am asked to recommend places to visit. My specialist areas are Wellness & Retreat Travel, Everything Caribbean, Experience Travel, Cruising, and Group Travel for weddings, celebrations, and conferences, whilst always ensuring I offer responsible travel wherever possible, ensuring attention to the finest details are the key to success for making memories.

Travel became my passion as a young child travelling with my parent‘s overland to France, Switzerland and Italy at the age of seven where I became hooked on learning new experiences and about different cultures. As soon as I could, I started my career at Gatwick Airport where I gained my travel knowledge working in Ticketing, Operations and Premium Customer Service roles and then at Heathrow Airport, managing the VIP departments for two major International airlines, followed by a travel executive position within a high-end tour operator in central London. I also managed an exclusive business portfolio for a travel and lifestyle membership provider which gave me the opportunity to offer business travel for small and medium business enterprises as well as luxury travel.

During my travel career I have been fortunate to visit many destinations including Australia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Japan, Dubai, Bahrain, Mexico, Venezuela, and the USA including Florida, California, Hawaii, Texas, New York, Las Vegas, New Orleans, Boston and Chicago. I love the Caribbean Islands and have spent fabulous holidays in Jamaica, the Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Bahamas, Antigua, Trinidad & Tobago, Dominican Republic and my beloved Barbados, where I lived for two years and still visit family there every year. Closer to home I have visited France and Austria, Germany, Spain, The Canaries, The Balearics, Malta, Greece and her islands, Italy, Sicily, Morocco The Netherlands, Switzerland, Eire, The Channel Islands, Croatia, Montenegro; my wish list gets longer every day! I would love to help you find your favourite destination too.
