The Brando is a unique and luxurious resort located on French Polynesia's small private island of Onetahi which was once Marlon Brando's private sanctuary. With immaculately appointed villas, white sand beaches and an all-inclusive concept, this stunning retreat offers barefoot luxury in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

The Brando

The private atoll of Tetiaroa is located 30 miles north of Tahiti. Your transfer journey to the island begins from a private terminal at Tahiti’s Faa’a International airport. You’ll arrive after a short 20 minute flight in one of the resort’s Britten Norman airplanes and be escorted to your private villa via electric vehicle.

This is the ultimate place for relaxation with the soft white sands and gently lapping waters to dip your toes in. Should you be feeling a little more energetic, eco-friendly activities are encouraged such as snorkelling, Polynesian canoeing and guided tours. There’s also a swimming pool, spa and wellness centre, a fitness centre and tennis court.

The Brando has two excellent restaurants which serve Polynesian-inspired dishes as well as classic French cuisine and East/West fusion fare. Fresh, local ingredients are used wherever possible plus fish from Polynesian waters.

There are 22 villas along West Turtle Beach and 13 along South Mermaid Bay.

Each villa has a cosy sitting room which leads to a modern media room, a walkthrough dressing area, bedroom with king bed and large windows with lagoon views, bathroom with outdoor bathtub, large deck with private plunge pool and private access to the beach. 95 sq m

Two Bedroom Villas

Large and airy villas with a spacious living room with dining area plus seating for six, a kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a 154 sq m outdoor living area with deck and plunge pool. 167 sq m

Three Bedroom Villa

There is one villa which has three bedrooms making it a perfect choice for friends and families. Details are as the two bedroom villa but with a dining area for 8 people plus the third bedroom is separated from the main villa by a walkway and has it's own dressing room, bathroom and outdoor bathtub. The deck is also larger and the pool is 21 sq m. 246 sq m

Restaurants

Les Mutines is a fine dining venue with an exceptional menu and world-class wine cellar.

The Beachcomber Cafe offers Polynesian-inspired dishes and classic French cuisine right on the beach.
