Alaska

The largest state in the USA and the most sparsely populated, Alaska offers some of the most spectacular scenery on the planet. One of the best ways to experience the grandeur of Alaska is from the deck of one of the many cruise ships which sail through the icy waters just off the coastline. Many cruise companies also offer a combined cruise and land tour to really appreciate the stunning surrounds.

New Orleans

Situated on the Mississippi River in Louisiana, New Orleans is a vibrant city renowned for its 24 hour nightlife, fantastic music and delicious cuisine. One of the best times to visit is during the world famous Mardi Gras with its colourful and spectacular carnival featuring stunning costumes and street parties.

Chicago

One of the largest cities in the USA, Chicago is world famous for its museums and spectacular architecture. It’s well worth a visit to Millennium Park, which is a popular gathering spot and well known for its art exhibits and free music concerts. For the family, there’s Shedd Aquarium, one of the biggest indoor aquariums in the world.
