Leisure & Activities

Timanfaya National Park
The most popular tourist attraction in Lanzarote, Timanfaya National Park is a fantastic sea of volcanic lava rock which has erupted from long dormant volcanoes. You are not allowed to walk through the park on foot, but there are coaches which pick you up at the main car park and take you on a fantastic journey on windy roads with hair pin bends. The coaches make regular stops in order for you to take photographs and to take a closer look at the incredible scenery.

Playa Blanca
Situated in the south of the island, Playa Blanca offers the perfect destination for a quieter, more relaxed holiday. It has an excellent selection of bars, cafes and restaurants as well as beautiful beaches, including Papagayo Beach and Playa Dorada. Night life is a lot more relaxed and more low key than other resorts on the island.

Monte Corona
Monte Corona is a great place to visit if you are a keen hiker. At 605 m, it’s the highest peak on the island and is formed from a long dormant volcano.
