Lisbon has many interesting places to visit, such as the Torre de Belem, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Portugals’ most famous landmarks. Originally constructed to guard the entrance to the harbour, this gothic tower featues some of the finest examples of Portuguese stonework from 16th century. Lisbon also has some of the best seafood restaurants in the world.
Situated in the town of Estoril, this casino is the oldest in Europe and is also one of the largest. The complex offers more than just the gaming tables and slot machines, there are also restaurants and bars as well as other exciting entertainment venues featuring musicals, singers and musicians.
Portugal offers some of the best golf courses in Europe and the world, and the Estoril coast is no exception. One of the best is the Oitavus Dunes Golf Course which is ranked the 69th best golf course in the world.
