Introducing the most incredible place on this planet..

I often struggle to articulate how truly incredible Baros is. I sometimes wonder if words even exist to truly give justice to this little island of paradise. Although a few years have passed since I was lucky enough to stay there, I still remember how this place made me feel and how staying there was honestly one of the greatest experiences of my life (and I’m sure you will agree, that’s quite a statement to make!)

From the moment I first arrived on the island I was just blown away. Everything, and I mean literally everything, happens so perfectly, with no fuss, and I experienced a service like nothing I have ever experienced before in my life, and have yet to experience again. In my opinion this is down to their incredible team of staff who evidently work incredibly hard and in such a way that half of the time you are completely unaware of the magic they have created for you. Everything happens so discretely that you are constantly surprised by the littlest of things that bring a massive smile to your face and leaves you feeling so happy and grateful inside.

It goes without saying that the island itself is absolutely stunning, it’s natural beauty has been preserved during it’s transformation into the resort it is today. It’s the picture perfect paradise that I always imagined the Maldives to be. The white sand, the turquoise water, the incredible uninterrupted ocean views, the lush green tropical foliage that surrounds the sandy pathways, the reef, and the kind of accommodation you have to pinch yourself when you walk into because you can’t quite believe it’s real.

Baros is currently ranked as number 1 in the travellers choice 2020 best of the best top 25 luxury hotels in the WORLD, and this does not surprise me in the slightest. They are so confident in their offerings that they maintain being a legendary destination without having to constantly reinvent themselves or come up with some wacky USP to try and make themselves stand out from the crowd. They are one of the most loved resorts in the Maldives and I believe they always will be.

I feel that for many people, myself included, 2021 will be about trying to make up for the things we missed out on this year. For some, important life events that were planned to perfection in miniscule detail were suddenly devastatingly gone, so when they go ahead they should be celebrated even harder. Baros is the perfect place to splash out and indulge and to celebrate your honeymoon, big birthday, special anniversary or just the fact that you are free to travel again and explore the world in true luxurious style.

Once you have been lucky enough to visit Baros the emotions you feel there will never leave you. Your time there will hold a special place in your heart forever like it does in mine.
