Heritage Awali - Day 5 Part 2 | Designer Travel

This afternoon we went for our complimentary massages at the Seven Colours Spa….a relatively new experience for us…and a real treat. Attended by the lovely Radica and Tatiana, we were positively glowing after 45 minutes of their committed attention to our shoulders, backs, neck and head…after which we were utterly relaxed…Great job ladies!…

This lovely Spa is an oasis of calm…it’s not in the least bit pretentious or ‘posh’…the African theme is continued throughout with the 20 treatment rooms, sauna, 2 hammams, plunge pool and relaxation areas being set amongst the lush greenery in thatch roofed clay buildings. A full menu of treatments and massages is offered, at exceptionally reasonable prices…our complimentary massages would have normally cost about £50.00… Uniquely, Seven Colours Spa also offers the ‘Kids Spa Timomo’ for children aged 6-12 years, which appear very popular, judging by the number of coloured hand prints which they leave on the wall of their treatment room!

Dinner tonight was a Mediterranean buffet…with, as it’s name suggests, dishes from many countries….all were beautifully prepared and presented… we are being truly spoilt for choice!
