Baltic Cruise on small Cruise Ship
Swan Hellenic Baltic Cruise on board MV Minerva sailing from Southampton (May 14)
The Capitals of the Baltic itinerary included: Sailing through the Kiel Canal – Ronne – Tallinn – St Petersburg – Helsinki – Stockholm – Elsinore
We do apologise for being so slow in getting back to you but we can confirm we enjoyed the cruise very much. The weather was reasonable and we had no currency problems largely because we didn’t spend much on shore.
All the places we saw had their own interest. Sylvia enjoyed the ballet in St Petersburg and Alan enjoyed the visit to Sibelius’s house near Helsinki and the short concert there. The crew on the ship were very friendly and helpful and the evening entertainment was always interesting especially the lady opera singers. The boat overall was comfortable although we found the beds in our cabin a bit small.
We found the food and drink of a high quality and the “bar prices” quite reasonable…the fellow passengers were very friendly. Anyway we thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to others. We would thank you for all your assistance in arranging it.
With best wishes
Alan & Sylvia Mc
