Delphin Diva

I visited this hotel with my family in May 2014 and had a wonderful week's holiday. The hotel is not too huge and is nicely laid out with one huge swimming pool as a central point with 3 smaller pools with their own areas for sunbeds.  1 of these smaller pools is for adults only and is the quiet relaxation pool, another is specifically for children which is around 1 metre deep and has some water slides for the younger ones. Next to this is a paddling pool with water jets for the toddlers.  The final pool has the larger water slides for the older ones.  Really good fun and we stayed by this pool for most of the week. The family rooms here will sleep up to 4 with a double bed, single bed and an additional sofa bed which was very comfortable.  There is not a lot of extra room so can be a little cramped when coming up to get ready for dinner but for the amount of time you spend in the rooms, it didn't bother us.  We had a Pool and Sea view which was lovely but you will hear the entertainment from the pool bar and the hotel next door until 11ish.  This didn't bother us whilst sitting on the balcony and with the patio door closed, it was not too loud inside. The food options were very good.  An extensive buffet in the main restaurant with themed nights with so many choices.  You can also book to visit the a la carte restaurants which can be done yourself at the machine in reception.  This opens at 9 am and you can book 1 day in advance. I would advise to get there early to guarantee the table.  There is a choice of Mexican, Italian, Turkish, Japanese and Fish.  We tried the Italian, Mexican and Turkish. All were set menus with a couple of choice and were all very tasty.  The fillet steak in the Italian was amazing! The evening entertainment was good and my children loved the mini disco at 8 and the fairground that was open from 7-9pm every day with candy floss, popcorn and children's cocktails. One of our favourite places was the bar on the pier (adults only in the evenings) great service and perfect position to watch the sun go down. There is an entertainment arcade with a bowling alley, arcade games, pool and many more which are all payable locally but great fun for an hour or so in the evening. This hotel belongs to a chain of hotels, two of which are next door and you can visit these hotels for 2 hours from 4-6 every evening should you wish.  The Delphin Imperial is much bigger and has an amazing water park.
