Amansara occupies what was originally built in the 1960’s as a guesthouse for visitors of King Sihanouk. Today it serves as an idyllic escape ideally located for exploring Angkor and Siem Reap. Personalised itineraries can be prepared for guests keen to explore the local area and beyond.
The resort has two swimming pools, a 25 x 5m secluded lap pool and a 17m curved pool overlooked by a cushioned alcove and sun loungers.
Relax in the spa which features four treatment rooms, each with a steam bath and shower. The treatments use traditional Cambodian techniques and natural Aman spa products. There’s also an in-house yoga teacher with regular sessions held in the contemplation room.
You’ll find dining here an absolute pleasure with dishes cooked to perfection and featuring fresh local produce wherever possible.

Rooms & Suites
With only 24 suites, this hotel offers peace and relaxation to all its guests. Suites feature air conditioning, ceiling fans, bathroom with bathtub and shower, dining table and chairs, sofa, writing desk, king size bed, telephone, room safe,music system, personal bar, Wi-Fi. Half of the suites include a 6m x 5m plunge pool.
Each of the suites at Amansara are similar in design and have a combined sleeping area featuring a king size bed and writing desk. There's a separate dressing area with cupboards and drawers, a sofa and dining table. Steps lead down to a bathroom with doors opening out onto a courtyard and/or garden.
Pool Suites have the same design and layout as described above with the addition of a 6 x 5m plunge pool.
The Dining Room: This is Amansara’s stunning focal point, with a seven-metre ceiling and two shaded pergolas. Dine indoors or al-fresco and enjoy exquisite Khmer and Western dishes prepared using fresh seasonal ingredients.
Khmer Village House: A private venue reserved for Amansara guests. Enjoy speciality dishes such as nom ben chok – fresh noodles, herbs, salad and green curry prepared by a local chef.
Guests can also dine in the privacy of their suite or at the pool side and linger over evening drinks on the Roof Terrace.
