Fly Drive Holiday to California & Las Vegas including San Francisco, Napa Valley, Lake Tahoe and Yosemite.

Hi Simon

Thank you for organising our latest holiday which we thoroughly enjoyed. As usual I am happy to let you have our comments about the itinerary and hotels:

The Stanford Court was in a great position but was not the best hotel we have been in – you entered the hotel underground via the car park which was a bit off putting! However we were staying there during Labor Day which maybe made it extra busy.

The River Terrace Inn was lovely and run by very nice people. We found the wine in the actual wineries expensive compared with our experience in South Africa.

The drives from Napa to Lake Tahoe and onto Yosemite were great particularly the one from Lake Tahoe to Yosemite. The Ritz Carlton at Lake Tahoe was good – the parking charges of $39 a night not though!

The Tanya Lodge at Yosemite was lovely with great food and the location brilliant for seeing round the park at its best.

We loved the Bellagio in Las Vegas – gorgeous room (Fountain View) – nice cocktail bar. We also enjoyed the ‘Cirque Du Soleil’ show at the hotel.

Thanks again for organising a great holiday – and by the way the car was great as well.

Regards

Carol & Gary M.
