Canadian Rockies – Rocky Mountaineer Train – Vancouver Island

Tailor-made Package (without car) to Banff, Icefield Parkway, Jasper, Rocky Mountaineer Train, Vancouver and Vancouver Island including recommendations of hotels and what to do and see.

Hi Simon

Sorry it’s taken us so long to get round to sending you a testimonial, but here it is below.

We had wanted to visit the Canadian Rockies for many years and our holiday there did not disappoint. There were so many highlights: breathtaking views from the top of the Banff Gondola; thrilling white water rafting on Bow River; an amazingly scenic coach journey across the Icefields Parkway to Jasper; in Jasper, a fascinating safari trip to the beautiful Maligne Canyon and Maligne Lake; the spectacular journey on the Rocky Mountaineer (we were very happy with the Redleaf service); looking over Vancouver from inside the wind turbine at the top of Grouse Mountain; the glorious displays of flowers in the Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island; an abundance of wildlife, including bald eagles, bears (actually, only two of these), bighorn sheep, elk and wolves – we even saw caribou just wandering down the street in Banff! What a wonderful variety of experiences. Looking at our itinerary, a Canadian friend said we had planned the trip very well, not knowing we had actually planned nothing ourselves! Being given a complimentary upgrade in almost all the hotels we stayed in was the icing on the cake. Thank you, Simon.
