Silversea’s Silver Cloud to join Expedition Fleet
In response to increasing demand for comfortable adventure travel, particularly to the Arctic and Antarctic, Silversea Cruises are moving their ultra-luxury cruise ship Silver Cloud to its luxury expedition fleet in November 2017. The 296 guest ship was the first one built for Silversea Cruises founded in 1994. She will be converted to an ice-class ship during an extensive refurbishment starting in August 2017. As an expedition ship she will accommodate 260 guests but while sailing the Arctic or Antarctic guest numbers are reduced to 200.
